Energy Drink Commercial – 3 – Camera Cuts or Sweeps?

I had the thought of making the entire commercial and single cut, or at the very least remove a good amount of cuts for instead some quick camera shifts and spins. Please excuse my very makeshift “ice” but looking at this smooth cylinder doesn’t exactly help articulate the detailed view.

Definitely needs control and refinement and I know this breaks a lot of camera rules, but because the transition is so quick, I’m interested in its application for possibly removing a few hard cuts in favor of making the shot a bit more fluid. It is one smooth movement and has a nice smooth pan across the focus point. Hopefully its not too disorienting, perhaps a bit of motion blur would help smooth it all together.
